Booking & Cancellation Fees
Following a free consultation we will provide you with a written quotation for everything we discuss. This quotation is valid for 28 days. If you decide you want to go with us we will invoice you for £100 or 20%(whichever is greater) of that quotation as a holding deposit which is non refundable.
The remainder of the quotation will be invoiced for settlement 6 weeks prior to the event date. Between the deposit payment and final invoice you can change the details of the quotation at any time i.e take things off or add things on.
Once the final invoice is settled (4 weeks prior to the event date) should you then decide to cancel we will return 50% of the final invoice.
For example if the total quotation is £600 the holding deposit will be £120 non refundable. The final invoice will be £480. If you cancel after the final invoice is paid we will refund £240.
In the event of a situation like the Covid 19 pandemic where it was not possible due to government guidelines to hold the event on the date booked the following will apply:
If the holding deposit is paid and the event postponed to another agreed date the final invoice will be issued for payment 6 weeks prior to the new date. No additional booking fees or price increases will be charged. We will honour our quotation for 12 months after the original event date.
Should you decide not to reschedule but to cancel entirely under these circumstances only we will refund 50% of the deposit if that is all that has been
paid.
For example on a £600 quotation that will be £100.
However if the full amount has been paid we will refund 100% of the final invoice and 50% of the deposit e.g. on a £600 quotation that will be £540.
Hopefully we will not see a rerun of 2020 and all the weddings will go ahead as planned. We have seen how much distress our couples have suffered and want to assure them that we will do as much as we can to help them.
